The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for controlling the power of a distributed power source. The present invention is to manage the generation of a distributed power source to not exceed a target value and the output voltage of the distributed power source to not exceed a specific output voltage. An apparatus for controlling the power of a power source according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a collection part and a control part. The collection part collects the generation and output voltage of the distributed power source. And, the control part monitors whether the generation of the distributed power source exceeds the target value or the output voltage exceeds a threshold value. When a monitored result exceeds the target value or the threshold value, power generation is carried out in a lower atmospheric pressure compared to a normal operating voltage as usual.
