PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveying device in which the sheet conveyance distance can be confirmed with a cost-reduced and miniaturized configuration.SOLUTION: The sheet conveying device includes a conveying means for conveying a sheet by a first rotary body and a second rotary body arranged movably in the approaching/separating direction to/from the first rotary body, a rotation amount measuring means which is arranged movably in the approaching/separating direction together with the second rotary body and used for measuring the rotation amount of the second rotary body, and a conveyance distance calculating means for calculating the sheet conveyance distance based on a measurement result by the rotation amount measuring means. |
