PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display apparatus that fixes a liquid crystal display panel and a backlight device with a predetermined strength or more and also reduces a width of a frame area.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display apparatus comprises: a liquid crystal display panel in which a pair of transparent base plates are arranged opposing each other with a liquid crystal layer in-between; and a backlight unit that is arranged on the rear face of the liquid crystal display panel and radiates backlight. The display apparatus has a plate-shaped member opposing to a side wall face of the liquid crystal display panel and a side wall face of the backlight unit. The plate-shaped member is fixed to the side wall face of the liquid crystal display panel and the side wall face of the backlight unit. |
