PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a microwavable sheet in which the penetration of oil to the exterior surface can be inhibited and which exhibits excellent moisture permeability; and a process for manufacturing the microwavable sheet.SOLUTION: A microwavable sheet includes: a base paper; and a resin layer which is laminated on one surface of the base paper by applying a coating fluid that contains a resin composition, the resin layer having multiple pores. It is preferable that the microwavable sheet exhibits a moisture permeability of 200 to 15,000 g/(m24 hr). Furthermore it is preferable that in the microwavable sheet, the coating fluid is applied to one surface of the base paper by a roller which has recessed parts on a surface thereof to thereby form the pores. Alternatively, the coating fluid is applied to one fine unevenness surface of the base paper to thereby form the pores. |
