PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a stable scribe line without producing a crack on a chemically strengthened glass when cutting the chemically strengthened glass, and thereby to obtain the chemically strengthened glass free of a crack.SOLUTION: A cutting method of a chemically strengthened glass is a method for cutting a plate-like chemically strengthened glass G1 by folding the chemically strengthened glass G1 along a scribe line S formed thereon. The chemically strengthened glass G1 includes a chemically-strengthened effective part R, and a non-effective part N which is located next to the effective part R and of which the surface stress of at least one surface of front and rear faces is lower than that of the effective part R. A scribe line S is formed by starting the line from a starting point Y located on the one face of the non-effective part N and extending the line from the non-effective part N to the effective part R.
