A packaging assembly (40) for enclosing a wiper assembly (22) includes a base (42) having a bottom (44), a first side (50), a second side (50) opposing said first side (50), and an accommodation space (52) to receive the wiper assembly (22) between the first side (50) and the second side (50). The packaging assembly (40) also includes a cover (78) connected pivotally to the second side (50) of the base (42), the cover (78) having a top (80), opposing first and second sides (98), and an accommodation space (100) to receive the wiper assembly (22) between the opposing first and second sides (98). The base (42) having a recess (62) in the second side (50) near a center thereof to receive a portion of the wiper assembly (22) to center the wiper assembly (22) in the packaging assembly (40) while providing optimal curvature for the wiper assembly (22). |
