A user management method according to the present disclosure comprises: a storage step (S101) of storing apparatus usage information, including apparatus identification information for identifying an apparatus, user information for identifying a user who uses the apparatus, and an operation state of the apparatus when the apparatus is being used; a usage analysis step (S102) of specifying a first function, among a plurality of functions which the apparatus contains, which is used at a use frequency less than or equal to a threshold, by analyzing the apparatus usage information which is stored in the storage step (S101); and a notification step (S103) of carrying out to a user a notification which motivates a use of the first function which is specified in the usage analysis step (S102).
