PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a breast X-ray photographing device capable of suppressing an X-ray exposure dose in breast X-ray photographing as much as possible, and reducing an impact of the exposure on a human body by a medical examination.SOLUTION: A breast X-ray photographing device that includes an X-ray tube and a squeezer, and photographs an analyte from a plurality of different photographing directions including first and second photographing directions is provided with a shielding member for shielding the irradiation of X-rays, a calculation part for calculating an amount of movement of the shielding member so that the shielding member shields the irradiation of X-rays in an area other than the area corresponding to a blind area when the analyte is photographed from the first photographing direction, and a movement control part for controlling the movement of the shielding member based on the result of the calculation. When photographing from the first photographing direction is performed without the shielding member being inserted between the breast of the analyte and the squeezer, and the shielding member is inserted in the photographing from the second photographing direction, the movement of the shielding member is controlled by the movement control part. |
