<p>A UV curing device (10) that includes a UV light source (29), a lens (30) positioned proximate the UV light source (29), control means (32) for actuating the UV light source (29); and safety means for minimizing inadvertent pointing of a UV light beam from said UV curing device (10) into an eye. The UV curing device (10) is used to sequentially, separately and individually apply UV light to cure UV gel on each of a plurality of fingernails.</p>
