摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rope inspection method for an elevator, allowing a maintenance person to efficiently inspect a state of a rope over a wide range by visual observation.SOLUTION: A hoist drive control unit 37 acquires information on an inspection important portion from an important portion storage unit 33, acquires information on the position of a rope from a rope position decision unit 35, drives a hoist so that a car is moved at a speed lower than a reference speed during inspection (i) when the position of the rope relative to a maintenance person position is a deceleration portion over a predetermined range before and after the inspection important portion, and stops the hoist for a predetermined time (ii) when the position of the rope relative to the maintenance person position is the inspection important portion.
