PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator having an intermediate temperature chamber, capable of maintaining intermediate temperature irrespective of influence of outside air.SOLUTION: A refrigerator includes a plurality of storage chambers including an intermediate temperature chamber formed in a casing having heat insulation performance and allowing the temperature in the storage chamber to be maintained at intermediate temperatures in the order of 10°C to 20°C, a refrigeration cycle having a compressor, a condenser, a cooler, and a throttle device, and a machine chamber disposed adjacent to the intermediate temperature chamber and accommodating the compressor, and a heat transfer coefficient of a heat transfer boundary wall partitioning between the machine chamber and the intermediate temperature chamber is higher than a heat transfer coefficient of other boundary wall partitioning the intermediate temperature chamber. |
