A device and method for managing a utility pole and a method for managing the utility pole using the same are disclosed. The device for managing the utility pole is installed in a data concentration device of a remote metering system for collecting meter data of an automatic meter reading system of a customer side and comprises; a vibration sensor which senses the vibration of a distribution line or a communication line installed on an electric pole; a proximity sensor which senses the movement of products around the utility pole; an image sensor which takes a picture of an image around the utility pole; and a controller which controls the operation of the vibration sensor, the proximity sensor, and the image sensor and transmits image data recorded by the image sensor to a management server through a communication network of the data concentration device.
