The thermometer (1) has multiple galvanic cells and a direct current (DC) power generation unit (2) comprising multiple individual outer electrodes (3, 3a, 3b, 4) made of different metal. One of outer electrodes serves as anode of one galvanic cell, which is replaceable and connectable and contains titanium and/or magnesium material. One of the electrodes serve as cathode of the galvanic cell made of gold, platinum and/or silver material. The galvanic cells of associated electrodes are cascaded interconnected.
