PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a stray light removal performance.SOLUTION: An erect equal magnification lens array 11 comprises: a first lens array plate 25 on which a plurality of first lenses 28 are arranged along a main scanning direction; a second lens array plate 26 on which a plurality of second lenses 29 are arranged along the main scanning direction; and a light blocking member 27 with a plurality of through-holes 30 corresponding to the first lenses 28 and the second lenses 29. A first opening 31 and second opening 32 of the through-holes 30 have rectangular shapes whose inner diameters D1 in a sub-scanning direction are greater than inner diameters D3 in the main scanning direction. In a position where an inverted image of line light is formed, the through-holes 30 have slit-like diaphragm parts 35 for blocking light that does not contribute to image formation. The diaphragm parts 35 have rectangular shapes whose inner diameters D2 in the sub-scanning direction are greater than those inner diameters D4 in the main scanning direction.
