The watercraft has a fish-shaped casing (2) that is deformed in the direction of both longitudinal axis (3) and a lateral axis over a hinge mechanism. An electrical drive is arranged on the fish-shaped casing, and is independently controlled by a control device. The control of electrical drive arranged in casing is performed by the control device, such that the casing is deformed towards the lateral axis orthogonal to the direction of longitudinal axis for producing fish-like swimming movements.
