A friction variable-speed drive includes a drive cone installed on the drive shaft, the drive cone with inner working surface and mean for pressing the driven cone to the drive cone. The drive cone is placed in the driven cone. Mean for pressing the driven cone to the drive cone is arranged as a cylindrical compression spring. The drive cone is installed with possibility of plane-parallel displacement along the axis placed in parallel to the element of the surface of the drive cone.
