<p>The present invention relates to a method for safe loading and unloading of motor vehicles, comprising the step of using the vehicle's air suspension system to adjust the slope of the vehicle's load plane to a substantially horizontal position, which step of adjusting the slope of the load plane comprises the steps of using slope sensor means (210) to obtain (S1 ) information about the slope of the load plane and using the vehicle's air suspension system (220) to adjust (S2) the slope of the load plane to substantially horizontal positions on the basis of said information.
