PURPOSE: A planar heating element and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to extend the polar wire gap of a heating element and to improve work convenience. CONSTITUTION: Iron wires are twisted to manufacture a polar wire(100). Fibers are twisted to manufacture a yarn(200). A mesh cloth is manufactured by weaving the polar wire and the yarn(300). The mesh cloth is dipped in a coating solution, dried, and pressurized. An insulation coating layer is formed on the surface of the mesh cloth.
