The freewheel (1) has a tension ring (8) rotatable in relation to a housing (2), and an output element (4) i.e. inner star, comprising clamping ramps (5) that face towards a clamping surface (3) of the housing. Clamping rollers (6) are arranged between the clamping surface and the ramps, and spring-loaded against the clamping surface and the ramps. The tension ring comprises claws (9) having a contact surface (10) for the rollers. A friction assembly is provided on the tension ring. Another friction assembly acts on the output element. The friction assemblies are formed as friction rings.
