PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seismically isolated structure in which response reduction effects can be obtained in simple facilities with respect to higher-mode vibration of a structure and which can also be easily maintained and managed.SOLUTION: In a seismically isolated structure where a seismically isolated layer 6 is formed between an upper structure 1 and a lower structure 3. On a lower face of the upper structure 1 in the seismically isolated layer 6, a synchronous mass damper 7 is installed which is synchronized to a frequency peculiar for an n-th mode ((n) is an integer equal to or more than 1) of the upper structure 1. |
