PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain pump that can suppress drain overflowing through a ceiling hole from staying inside an outer annular wall surrounding the ceiling hole to approach to a motor body.SOLUTION: A drain pump 1 includes: a pump case 11 having a pump chamber 14 partitioned in the inside thereof; an impeller 12 having a shaft 17 penetrating a ceiling hole 16 provided on a ceiling of the pump chamber 14 to protrude above; and a motor body 4 arranged above the pump case 11. The pump case 11 includes: an upper pump case 41 having the ceiling hole 16; and a lower pump case 42 stacked on the upper pump case 41 from below to partition the pump chamber 14. The upper pump case 41 includes: an outer annular wall 48 surrounding the ceiling hole 16; and a drain hole 79 whose upper end opening is positioned inside the outer annular wall 48 and whose lower end opening is exposed outside the lower pump case 42. A drain D which stays inside the outer annular wall 48 is discharged from the drain hole 79. |
