PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tread pressure electricity generating device capable of converting tread pressure of an automobile travelling on a road into power for an electric generator without exerting adverse effect on automobile travel, driving the electric generator using the power for ensuring the electric power, being easily installed in the road, and being easily maintained after its installation.SOLUTION: A tread pressure electricity generating device is configured to include: a box-like road member 1 with its upper surface being flush with a road surface part 1a as its upper surface; a plurality of tread pressure receiving pieces 2, 2, ... sequentially provided along a travelling direction so as to ascend from and descend toward the road surface part (1a); a biasing means for elastically biasing the tread pressure receiving pieces 2, 2, ... in a lifting direction; an ascending/descending rotation conversion mechanism operated by the ascending/descending operation of the tread pressure receiving pieces 2, 2, ... during passing of an automobile; a pump 5 for generating compressed air driven by the output power from the ascending/descending rotation conversion mechanism; a storage tank 6 of the compressed air for storing the generated compressed air to be filled therein; a pneumatic motor 7 driven by the compressed air; an electric generator 8 for generating electric power by means of rotating drive force thereof; and a battery 9 for storing the generated electric power. |
