PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus which classifies elasticity images by using elasticity data and image information of the elastic images to objectively evaluate a disease progression level.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes: an elasticity information computing unit for calculating elasticity data of body tissues of a subject by using RF signal frame data from the inside of the subject that is received by an ultrasound transmitting and receiving means; an elasticity image construction unit for generating an elastic image based on the amount of distortion and/or an elastic modulus that is calculated by the elasticity information computing unit; an elastic image evaluating unit 11 for generating evaluation data for evaluating characteristics of the body tissues based on the elastic image; and an image classifying unit 12 for classifying the elastic images by using at least one piece of the evaluation data that is generated by the elastic image evaluating unit 11. The result of the classification by the classifying unit 12 is displayed on a display through a switching display device 14. |
