PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood sugar level measuring device which can efficiently irradiate test paper with light even when a light source having a small amount of light is used and can adjust the diameter and illuminance distribution of an irradiation spot projected on the test paper.SOLUTION: A blood sugar level measuring device comprises: a mounting part 30 to which a chip 100 is mounted; a light source 80a which emits light having a prescribed wavelength; and a light receiving element 44 which receives light reflected from test paper 107. It also comprises a condenser lens 53 to which light emitted from the light source 80a enters and which condenses the light on the test paper 107, and an optical path block 26. The optical path block 26 is provided with a stop part 66 in between the condenser lens 53 and the light source 80a, at the position of a subject on the condenser lens 53. The light receiving element 44 detects light quantity reflected by blood spread on the test paper 107, of the light emitted from the light source 80a. |
