PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boring machine for which a posture of a work deck can be changed so that the work deck keeps a horizontal posture following spiral boring.SOLUTION: The H&V shield boring machine includes: a first boring machine 1A having a first front barrel part 3A provided with a cutter head 2A on a front end part and a first rear barrel part 4A to which the first front barrel part 3A is connected so as to be bent in the middle; a second boring machine 1B having a second front barrel part 3B provided with a cutter head 2B on a front end part and a second rear barrel part 4B to which the second front barrel part 3B is connected so as to be bent in the middle; connection means 29 for connecting the first and second rear barrel parts so that the first and second front barrel parts can be bent in the middle in direction opposite to each other respectively; first and second work decks 11A, 11B provided respectively inside the first and second rear barrel parts and supported respectively by frames 25-27 of the first and second rear barrel parts so as to be rotated around the shaft center of the first and second rear barrel parts; and first and second deck rotational drive means 50A, 50B for rotationally driving the first and second work decks so as to be rotated relatively to the frames of the first and second rear barrel parts respectively. |
