PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EPS controller capable of achieving tuning processing of a torque parameter with a small error.SOLUTION: The EPS controller includes: a tuning operation setting means 117 for holding a switch pattern of an inverter circuit 130; an inspection motor torque calculating means 118 for calculating inspection motor torque Tmb, which is added to an assist motor 120, on the basis of a motor current Imb; a parameter data calculating means 119a for calculating a torque parameter on the basis of the inspection motor torque and inspection steering torque added during an inspection; and a signal characteristic setting means 119 for setting a correlation between a recognition value of a torque signal and the torque parameter.
