The assembly (10) has a crank continuously variable transmission (CVT) gearbox (20) provided with a driving side and a driven side. An attenuation and/or vibration suppression device (60) i.e. torsional vibration damper, is arranged on the driven side between a differential (40) and a freewheel device (29) of the crank-CVT gear box for attenuating and/or suppressing torsional vibrations of the freewheel device. The device is connected with a transmission output shaft (30) of the crank CVT gear box at an input side in a torque-proof manner.
