<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify a blood flow direction in a partial blood vessel branched from the branch of a branch source concerning a blood vessel including a loop shape portion. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing device 1 includes a determination means 30 for calculating a likelihood for allowing a blood flow direction in a branch E3 to be a direction for separation from a branch node B through the use of an angle θ made by a first vector and a second vector, where the first vector has a direction based on the positions of multiple nodes P11-P15 positioned on the branch E1 of the branch source in a branch node B positioned on a route toward a downstream side from a reference point S in a graph structure and is regulated to have a direction toward the branch node B, and the second vector has a direction based on the positions of multiple nodes P31-P35 positioned on the branch E3 branched from the branch E1 and is regulated to have a direction for separation from the branch node B. The determination means 30 determines whether the direction of a blood flow in the branch E3 is the direction for separation from the branch node B or the direction toward the branch node B through the use of the calculated likelihood. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
