<p>The present invention relates to a device (1) for heating and foaming milk comprising a support surface (10) for receiving a container (6) containing milk, a steam wand (5) provided with an open end (7) suitable for being immersed in the container (6), and at least one contactless temperature transducer (9) disposed in proximity to the support surface (10) for detecting the temperature of the milk when contained in the container (6). The temperature (9) transducer preferably comprises an infrared sensor (8) and the detection of the temperature of the milk takes place via detection of the temperature of at least one portion of the outer surface of the container (6).</p> |
