PURPOSE: A method for setting a mesh peer link in a wireless mesh network, a device thereof, a channel switch method thereof, and a device thereof are provided to exchange ability information related to VHT(Very High Throughput) between MPs(Mesh Points) for using VHT wireless LAN(Local Area Network) technology in a mesh network. CONSTITUTION: A processor(32) generates a mesh peer open frame. The processor transmits the mesh peer open frame to a mesh station facing a wireless device. The mesh peer open frame includes VHT ability information elements. The processor receives a mesh peer confirmation frame from the mesh station in response to the mesh peer open frame.
