<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coaxial connector device configured to be attached to a coaxial cable which implements a reduced thickness dimension and implements a reliable and stable contact connection of a contact member with a central contact of a mating coaxial connector device. <P>SOLUTION: The coaxial connector device comprises a contact member 20 having a central conductor connection part 51 adapted to be connected to a central conductor of a coaxial cable and a contact engagement part 52 adapted to be contact-connected to a central contact of a mating coaxial connector device. The contact member 20 is fixed to an insulating housing member at a fixing part 50, and the central conductor connection part 51 is positioned in proximity to the contact engagement part 52. The contact engagement part 52 has a pair of curved resilient arm portions 58, 59 oppositely projecting from the fixing part 50, and free ends thereof are engaged together to form a resiliently deformable ring.
