<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a range hood, in which a blower fan does not rotate on cleaning the inside of the hood or dismounting the blower fan from the hood, and thereby, a risk can be avoided even when an operation of stopping the blower during the above works is forgotten. <P>SOLUTION: A protective member 5 (straightening plate 50) is detachably mounted on a hood 1, opposing to a suction port 41 of a blower 4; and the hood is provided with a means 6 for determining whether the protective member 5 is mounted. When the determining means 6 determines a dismounted state, a motor 4c to rotate a fan 4b of the blower 4 can not be energized. Thereby, there is no risk even when an operation of stopping the blower 4 is forgotten on carrying out a cleaning work or a dismounting work of the fan. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
