PURPOSE: An opposite substrate for liquid crystal display and a liquid crystal display device are provided to display a 3D image without using a parallax barrier and a flexible lens array. CONSTITUTION: A black matrix(BM) forms a light blocking portion and opening portions on a transparent substrate(2). The transparent electrode(4) of belt type is formed with a pixel or a sub pixel unit. The black matrix includes a center pattern(B2) of line type and a frame pattern(B1). The transparent electrode is parallel with the center pattern and two sides of the frame pattern.
