<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a sufficient mounting area for a circuit board 52 mounted in a first housing 1 in a slide type electronic device in which the first housing 1 and a second housing 2 are coupled with each other through a slide module 3. <P>SOLUTION: In a slide type electronic device of the present invention, a slide module 3 includes a pair of components mutually engaging in a slidable manner. One of the components is fixed to a first housing 1, and the other of the components is fixed to a second housing 2. The one of the components of the slide module 3 is fixed to the first housing 1 with plural fixing parts.
