<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor cooling structure that provides sufficient cooling for a motor with a simple configuration, and to provide an electric vehicle equipped with the structure. <P>SOLUTION: A motor cooling structure includes a motor 30 that has a rotating shaft 32 extending in a width direction of a vehicle and that drives a rear wheel 3 to which the rotating shaft 32 is connected. In the motor cooling structure, the motor 30 is cooled by passing air over a casing 31 of the motor 30. Around the casing 31, a pair of upper and lower guide plates 34 and 34 are provided that extend posterior to the rotating shaft 32 toward the rear of a vehicle body and that guide the passing air along an outer circumferential surface of the casing 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
