<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for compressing a file access log in which characteristics of the file access capable of being newly created by storing the file access log in a table are utilized, a data structure of the log is changed to the data structure where a general-purpose compression algorithm is likely to be compressed, and furthermore high compression ratio is obtained. <P>SOLUTION: A system for compressing a file access log of the present invention comprises: means for storing a file access log in a table format, table pre-compression processing means for changing a data structure of the table into a format where a general-purpose compression algorithm is likely to be compressed, and means for compressing the data structure with the table format. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
