PURPOSE: A ball valve with a locking unit is provided to be prevented arbitrary opening or closing due to the carelessness of a user or a third party by having a safety device for restricting the rotation of a handle. CONSTITUTION: A ball valve comprises a body part(100), a ball(200), a stem(300), a handle(400), and a locking pin(600). The body part has an internal space for forming a pipe and multiple fixing holes. The ball is rotatably installed in the internal space of the body part and selectively opens and closes the pipe. The stem is connected to the ball to form a rotary shaft of the ball and is rotatably installed in the body part. The handle comprises a pin insertion hole. The pin insertion hole selectively communicates with one of the multiple fixing holes. The handle is coupled to the stem to rotate the stem. The locking pin is detachably coupled to the pin insertion hole of the handle and the fixing holes of the body part to prevent the arbitrary rotation of the handle.
