<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching power supply device that is adaptable to both an input of 100 to 200 VAC and an input of high-voltage DC (approximately 400 V), and is changeable to a suitable circuit configuration for each of the input systems. <P>SOLUTION: A switching power supply device comprises: an input terminal for receiving energy; a rectifier circuit for converting an alternating current into a direct current; a booster circuit for boosting the output voltage of the rectifier circuit; a DC-DC converter for converting the output voltage of the booster circuit into a desired DC voltage; and an output terminal for outputting the output voltage of the DC-DC converter. The switching power supply device further comprises: a bypass current path for bypassing at least one of the current paths of the rectifier circuit and the booster circuit; a first switch for opening and closing the connection to the bypass current path; a second switch for disconnecting the rectifier circuit and the booster circuit; and a control circuit for determining the input system from the voltage of the input terminal and for opening and closing the first and second switches. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
