<p>Provided is a backlight system, wherein excessive current will not flow through an inductor of a driver, even during a transitional period of a power supply. The backlight system is for turning on light-emitting diodes (LED), and is provided with a driver that controls the current to flow in from a power supply to the LEDs on the basis of the voltage applied to a control node, and a controller that applies a gradually increasing voltage to the control node.</p> |
