<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an incision or opening protection device which is usable together with a sealing anchor member, and a system for use thereof. <P>SOLUTION: An opening protection device 100 includes: a housing 110 which is adapted for insertion into the incision of tissue, and defines a proximal end part 112 and a distal end part 114; a tube 130 which is arranged on the housing 110, and extends in a distal direction from the proximal end part 112 to the distal end part 114 and further makes a round of the distal end part of the housing; and a thin and long member 140 which can be inserted into the tube 130 to give more hardness to the tube 130. The housing 110 has a first state before insertion of the thin and long member 140 and a second state after the insertion of the thin and long member. The distal end part 114 of the housing is hollowed in the first state to facilitate the insertion into the incision, and has more hardness in the case of the second state to fix the housing in the incision. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
