<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor material for a bus that is environmentally friendly by only using domestic wood which is superior to imported wood in respects of supply stability and cost, with lower fuel consumption performance due to weight reduction of a vehicle and in addition effectively using thinned cryptomeria. <P>SOLUTION: The floor material for the bus 1 is a composite material of an interlaminate of thinned-out cryptomeria 3, Japanese red pine 2 and/or Japanese cypress with Japanese red pine 2 on a top surface layer.
