PURPOSE: A CMOS image sensor for outputting a digital pulse is provided to minimize the number of transistors, thereby increasing the resolution of an image by reducing a pixel unit area. CONSTITUTION: A transmission transistor transmits a signal, which is sensed by a photoelectric converting device, to a sensing node. A digital pulse output unit(10) converts a signal of the sensing node to a digital pulse. A reset transistor initializes the sensing node. A select transistor outputs a digital pulse signal of the digital pulse output unit.
