SEPARABLE WEIGHING MACHINE AND METHOD OF WEIGHING LOAD OF MEASUREMENT OBJECT USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separable weighing machine which is made compact and is capable of properly maintaining the load measurement accuracy of a measurement object.

SOLUTION: A separable weighing machine 100 includes: a pair of platforms 30 and 40 disposed so as to face each other with a separation region 20 therebetween; a plurality of load cells LC1 to LC8 which support the platforms 30 and 40 from under respectively and are capable of measuring a load of a measurement object 10 on the platforms 30 and 40; and a linking device which forms a link between the platforms 30 and 40 and releases the link. When a lateral load in a direction perpendicular to a carrying direction 200 acts on the platforms 30 and 40 by the load of the measurement object 10, movement of the platforms 30 and 40 based on the lateral load is stopped by formation the link.
