<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope which can restrain the generation of halation and enables direct visual observation and side visual observation to be simultaneously carried out. <P>SOLUTION: The endoscope 12 includes an insertion portion 20 having a tip hard portion 21, a first projecting portion 51 arranged on the tip face 21a of the tip hard portion 21 and projecting forward from the tip face 21a, a direct visual observation window 53 arranged on the tip face 51a of the first projecting portion 51 and for observing the front of the tip face 51a of the first projecting portion 51 in the insertion direction of the insertion portion 20, and a side visual observation window 55 arranged on a side face 51b of the first projecting portion 51 and for observing a side of the first projecting portion 51. The endoscope 12 has a second projecting portion 81 arranged on the tip face 21a and projecting forward from the tip face 21a and adjacent to the first projecting portion 51 in the plane direction of the tip face 21a, and a both-side illuminating window 91 which is a both-side illumination portion emitting illumination light to the front and the sides for the direct visual observation and side visual observation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
