<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable phone having an easy-to-use function and a piezoelectric element controller. <P>SOLUTION: A cartilage conduction vibration source and a vibration conductor whose center part is abutted to the cartilage conduction vibration source and both ends for tragus contact are extended to both corners on the ear side at the upper part of the portable phone are provided so as not to project from the outer wall of the portable phone. When a gravity acceleration detection part detects a horizontal still state of the portable phone when it is mounted on a desk or the like, even when a proximity sensor for ear detection erroneously detects the desk or the like, vibrations of the cartilage conduction vibration source are inhibited. By adjusting the sound quality of voice information inputted from a voice input part, inverting a phase, and performing output from a cartilage conduction vibration part when an ear hole is closed by the pressurization of a tragus, the feeling of incompatibility of use's own voice due to bone conduction from a vocal cord when an earplug bone conduction effect is generated is mitigated.
