PURPOSE: An alarm device and an air cleaning device including the same are provided to output an alarm sound while offering bright illumination which is the best that a man gets up during constant time before the hour of rising. CONSTITUTION: A lighting device(30) emits light. A sound generating device(50) outputs an alarm. A controller(20) gradually increases the illumination of the lighting device as the hour of rising approaches. The controller executes an alarm operation of outputting the alarm through the sound generating device at the time for rising. A timer informs a man present time. A memory stores the hour of rising, illumination increasing conditions, and information in regard to alarm sound.
