In a pressure regulator with two predetermined settings for use with two different fluids a valve member 28 controls the flow between an inlet 12 and an outlet 26 and is movable by a diaphragm 30 responsive to outlet pressure and loaded by a spring 36 adjustable by a screw 42 to a first predetermined setting. A spring- loaded shaft 62 may be rotated from the position shown in which diametrically opposed shoulders 62 on the head of the shaft rest on upper abutments (66) so that the spring-loading causes the shoulders to slide down sloping surfaces 68 to rest on lower abutments to permit the adjustable flange head 54 to rest on the upper surface of the nut 42 and depress the plunger 40 to give a second predetermined setting to the spring 36.</p> |
