<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device, a control method, and a program which enable easier operation for designating a detachable storage medium as a transmission destination of image data. <P>SOLUTION: When undisplayed information is included in registered information in which a removable memory is displayed as a transmission mode 5003 and 1 is displayed as a priority display flag 5005, a CPU 180 of an image processing device determines that the removable memory is newly mounted to the image processing device. When the undisplayed information is not included, the CPU 180 determines that the removable memory is not newly mounted to the image processing device.
