<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous casting method of a silicon ingot capable of preventing a cast ingot from contamination by impurities and preventing the inside face of a cooling crucible from damage. <P>SOLUTION: In the continuous casting method of a silicon ingot 3, a bottomless cooling crucible 7, wherein a part of the axial direction is divided into a plurality of sections in the circumferential direction, is arranged inside an induction coil 8, a molten silicon 13 is formed inside the cooling crucible 7 by induction heating by the induction coil 8, and the silicon ingot 3 is continuously cast when the molten silicon is solidified while being pulled down from the cooling crucible 7. In the inside face 7a of the cooling crucible 7, a part 7b facing the outside face 13a of the molten silicon and the outside face 3a of the silicon ingot is plated with an Ni-B alloy. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
