PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and an icon managing method thereof are provided to effectively generate a folder including icons, thereby performing various operations related to the icons and the folder. CONSTITUTION: A folder includes at least one application. A controller(180) displays the folder on a display unit(151). The controller displays a graphic object showing the update information on the display unit when the controller receives update information corresponding to at least a portion of applications through a communication unit(110). The graphic object corresponds to the folder. |
